Yes4Youth is a business-driven initiative which is breaking new ground by pioneering a partnership with government and labour, in collectively tackling a national plan to build economic pathways for black youth. The goal is for 1 million black youths to be employed by 2030.
In November, Super Tyres hosted an induction for 11 Yes4Youth candidates, who will be hosted for a full year by Super Tyres in 2020. Each candidate is set to receive a R3 500 stipend and a cell phone (a Yes4Youth requirement for communication access with the organisation that is essential in the reporting and updating process).
Super Tyres will earn B-BBEE points for their participation, and it will create an opportunity for the young candidates to be brought into the family permanently.
