Celebrating 100% Attendance
The 100% Attendance Awards spotlighted the extraordinary reliability of our team. Maintaining perfect attendance throughout the year requires discipline and dedication, and 47 staff members achieved this milestone. Notable names like Florence, Melanie, Debbie and Chris demonstrated their unwavering commitment to being present every day, ensuring that our operations never missed a beat.
Long Service Awards: Honouring Loyalty & Dedication
Super Tyres is built on the foundation of long-standing relationships, and the Long Service Awards paid tribute to team members who have been with us for a decade or more. Five staff members—Florence Pillay, Dean Horn, Bongi Ncube, Prosper Zindela, and Ravi Rajah—were recognized for 20 years of service; Lindelani Gumbi, Mandla Majola, and Thulani Njoko were acknowledged for 15 years of service; and Welcome Mathenjwa, Clinton Luthuli, and Sandile Dlamini joined many others in celebrating a decade of excellence. These awards reflect not just longevity but also the consistent quality and expertise that these individuals bring to our organisation.

The Raving Fans Awards honoured team members who went the extra mile to create outstanding customer experiences. Winners such as Siphamandla, Natasha, and Lucas stood out for their ability to turn customers into lifelong supporters of Super Tyres. Their dedication to understanding and meeting customer needs embodies our commitment to service excellence.
Branch Awards: Celebrating Team Success
Branches across the country were recognized for their standout performance in various categories. Brickhill Road led the Google Reviews category with stellar customer feedback, followed closely by Gateway and Pinetown. Hi-Q Empangeni clinched the Fastest Fitting Branch title with an impressive average fitting time of 46 minutes. Sesfikile took the Most Improved Branch award, with South Coast Road and Pietermaritzburg showing notable progress. Gateway emerged as the Best Retail Branch, with Pietermaritzburg and Pinetown securing second and third place, respectively. These awards not only recognize efficiency but also the collaborative efforts of branch teams in delivering top-notch service.

Promotions from Within
Super Tyres thrives on nurturing talent from within. This year, Mlu and Cindy transitioned into branch management roles, while 22 other team members embraced new responsibilities.
Top Salespeople: Rewarding Outstanding Performance
Sales drive our business, and this year, we celebrated the exceptional contributions of our top performers. Ricky and Clayton showcased remarkable sales expertise, but it was Sarisha from Gateway who claimed the coveted Best Salesperson Award. Her ability to connect with customers and deliver results sets a benchmark for excellence.
Growth & Learning Awards: Investing in the Future
Continuous learning is at the heart of Super Tyres, and several awards recognized those who expanded their skills and knowledge in 2024. Graduates of the Management Development Program included Romano Pillay, Cindy van Jaarsveldt, and Andries Qwebani. Participants in the YES Learners Program, like Sphumelele Jama and Sphokuhle Gasa, were acknowledged for successfully transitioning from learners to full-time employees. Numerous team members also completed SETA-accredited certifications in critical areas like Tyre Sales, Steering Geometry Maintenance, and Minor Car Servicing.
Technical Excellence Awards: Acknowledging Expertise
Super Tyres places immense value on technical skills, and the following categories highlighted the best in the business. The Top Tyre Fitters were Phumalani, Lucas, and Joe. The Best Suspension Technicians were Thulani, Lucas, and Clayton. Alignment Specialists, including Themba, Lwazi, and Sbu, were celebrated for their meticulous work in alignment services.
Special Awards: Recognizing Exceptional Contributions
The highlight of the evening was the recognition of individuals who embody the Super Tyres spirit. Belinda du Plessis was named Administrator of the Year for her impeccable organisational skills and dedication. Seshan Moodley was awarded Super Man/Woman of the Year for going above and beyond in every aspect of their role. Amanda Marajh received the Founders Award for her unwavering commitment to the company’s vision and values.
