Two extraordinary women have quietly dedicated the past ten years to the success and growth of Super Tyres. It was an honour to recently celebrate and award them their 10 year service certificates. Leslie Bush and Sache Horn have not only become integral members of the Super Tyres family but also exemplify the spirit of hard work, perseverance, and continuous learning.
Sache Horn’s journey with Super Tyres began in 2013 when she initially assisted with banking, debtors, and creditors. However, her passion for process improvement and operational efficiency quickly shone through. Over the years, Sache’s role evolved, and she now stands as the IT systems manager, responsible for enhancing processes, automating systems, overseeing portal development, and managing new IT projects.
“I absolutely love what I do. I really enjoy solving issues and seeing new programs implemented that assist in our daily tasks and functions,” she shared. Her dedication to finding innovative solutions has undoubtedly played a crucial role in our company success.
Leslie made a significant career shift ten years ago when she left a 25-year career in the corporate space to join Super Tyres as the financial manager. Beyond managing finances, Leslie is actively involved in different parts of the business, including HR. She finds fulfilment in nurturing and growing people, positively impacting the lives of many in the company.
“I love growing and nurturing people, and find it so rewarding to help others and to make a difference in other’s lives,” Leslie said. Her commitment to both the financial well-being of the company as well as the individual growth of its employees highlights the depth of her dedication.
Outside their demanding professional lives, both Leslie and Sache lead fulfilling personal lives. Leslie, a mother of two, balances her career with a commitment to health and family. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising and cherishing moments with her loved ones.
Sache, a mother of three, has a diverse range of interests, from hiking to sewing, crafting, and scrapbooking. Her dreams extend beyond the workplace, as she aspires to travel more, engage in charitable work, and secure her retirement through property ownership.
Their advice to others reflects the wisdom gained from a decade of dedicated service: “Never stop believing. Anything is possible if you work hard, set goals, and continue to learn. You can achieve anything you put your mind to.”
