October 18th, 2024, is Breast Cancer Awareness Day. At Super Tyres, we’re committed to making a difference in our communities. To show our support for this important cause, our staff in every branch came to work wearing something pink.
Super Tyres Shows Support to Pink Drive
We’re proud to support Pink Drive in some small way by buying and wearing the Pink Drive badge to promote breast cancer awareness. Pink Drive is a Public Benefit Organisation dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer and providing essential services. Their groundbreaking initiative is well worth supporting – South Africa’s first mobile Mammography Unit and Pink Drive Educational Unit that travels across South Africa, taking much needed health services to those without access to reasonable healthcare who live in areas where health services do not reach.
Early Detection Saves Lives
Pink Drive’s resounding message is “Early detection will help to prolong a life.” Their mission is clear: early detection can significantly improve the chances of survival for those battling breast cancer. By providing mobile mammography units and educational resources, they’re making vital healthcare accessible to people across the country.
