We were genuinely privileged to have the opportunity to donate four premium tyres and professional fitting services to The Open Door, an exceptional community-based organisation that provides essential support to some of the most vulnerable people in our society. However, none of this vital work would be possible without reliable transportation. The Open Door’s vehicle is absolutely essential to their operations—it’s quite literally the difference between getting someone to safety and leaving them at risk. When we learned that their vehicle needed four new tyres to remain roadworthy and compliant with traffic regulations, we knew this was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.
What strikes us most about The Open Door is the tangible impact of their work. Every journey their vehicle makes could be transporting a woman and her children to safety. Every trip might mean rushing someone to hospital during a mental health crisis. Every expedition could involve delivering essential provisions to families facing food insecurity.
