This year’s Heritage weekend went a little different for the Super Tyres family, Saturday 24 till Sunday the 25th of September was the Quarterly Sales Conference. The two-day event hosted at Onomo Hotel in Durban came back with a bang following the covid-19 restriction pause. The sales reflection and projection items were accompanied by some awards, service culture training, and the introduction of a new incentive program as well as a surprise team-building feature for Saturday afternoon.

Chané Nel also had the spotlight on her, the Umgeni branch manager was recognised for naming the latest branch through a name submission contest that was opened to all staff. Day one ended on a high as management gave each hero a stadium pass to watch the Springboks vs Argentina game, live. The boks put on a good show, treating some of our stadium first-timers with an amazing final score of 38 against 21.

Day two was centered around sales and the sixth company value; SAFETY. The big emphasis was on prioritising the well-being of our heroes and that of our raving fans, living up to the super tagline ‘Let our family keep your family safe on the road’.

Our teams shared positive feedback on the whole experience, one that warmed our hearts was from Mandisa. The admin personnel at head office gave credit to the sales conference, in her own words Mandisa shared; “What an experience, for someone who’s never been in a hotel before, someone who’s never attended a conference before, someone who’s never been in a stadium before to watch a big game like this, I’m out of words, thank you Super Tyres!”
