This April, Super Tyres is proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone and illustrate Super Tyres career growth in action: ten years of outstanding service from one of our very own, Edward Moodley. From his first day on the workshop floor to his current role as Area Mentor, Edward’s journey embodies the dedication, resilience and passion for people that define our company.
A Humble Beginning
Edward joined Super Tyres in 2016 as a Suspension Technician. Eager to learn and renowned for his strong work ethic, he quickly mastered alignment and then moved into sales. His unwavering commitment was soon recognised, leading to a relief management position. In 2020, Edward was appointed Branch Manager at Best Drive on Smith Street, and in 2024 he embraced an even broader remit as Area Mentor, overseeing the Super Tyres Gateway branch alongside two other stores.
“Each step has been both challenging and rewarding,” Edward reflects. “I thoroughly enjoy working with people and helping customers. Leading a team and seeing others grow is incredibly fulfilling.”

Having climbed the ranks himself, Edward is passionate about nurturing the next generation of leaders. His goals focus on identifying high-potential team members and guiding them to reach their full potential. It’s a natural extension of the journey he has walked at Super Tyres.

Life Beyond the Workshop
Edward, now 40, lives in Phoenix with his wife Natasha and their two sons, Elias (13) and Ezra (9). When he’s not at work, he cherishes family time—whether it’s a relaxed braai at home or showcasing his love of cars at local car shows. These moments keep him grounded and motivated for the challenges ahead.
