Superhero Mlu Khanyile went above and beyond — twice — for two different clients. The recent occasion was when he made his way to our Best Drive Durban Central branch at 17h00 to help finish a Toyota bakkie’s rear drums and linings and only finished at 18h30, working way beyond his official knock-off time, and going way beyond the demands of his role.
Prosper Thuthukane as correctly named, has been with Super Tyres for the past 20 years: “Super Tyres really looks after me,” he says.
Based at Head Office, he started as a foreman and worked his way into sales. For the past nine years he has also been a driver and, because he is constantly on the road, by the time he gets home he says he only has enough energy to watch TV! “I love my job, but I really enjoy relaxing after a long day on the road!” he laughs.
Ayanda, from the Gateway branch attended a four-day Wheel Alignment course at the Traction Training Academy.
Also having served here internships as a YES student, since 1 December 2021, Ayanda is now permanently employed as a Tyre Fitter at the Gateway branch where she “really loves” her job!

Excellent service and helpfulness from the team. They offered the best price for tyre replacement and matched a quote that I received for replacement of shocks. After the job was completed, many dash board warning lights had come on but the work day was over and the problem couldn’t be rectified immediately. However, early the next day, Hein contacted me, collected the car from my hotel and returned it to me a few hours later when they had sorted everything out. Would highly recommend them.

It is very often when most customers complain about service and poor workmanship but forget to report when a problem is resolved. In this respect I wish to bring to your notice that there was a problem with my right inner lining behind the front fender.
I laid a complaint and received a call from Edward and upon inspection he had agreed to replace same. This morning I received a call from Edward and took my car to have the part replaced. I want to compliment Edward and his Team for the manner in which they treat Customers.
It is with people like this that has made Super Tyres grow bigger in the past 50 years. I will not change for another and wish to remain loyal to Super Tyres.
